Charlotte Frontier Days Grand Parade
The 45th annual Charlotte Frontier Days Festival Grand Parade is an event not to be missed! The Grand Parade will fill the business district with floats, cowboys, kids and music! Frontier Days is a celebration of Charlotte, Michigan as a community. It’s a celebration of the city’s unique tradition. Charlotte Frontier Days Candy Ford Saloon
Lots to do and see at the Candy Ford Frontier Saloon this year! From the Frontier Days King/Queen Scholarship Competition, to LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, including Charlotte’s own Dancing Deputies, there is be no shortage of fun to be had every single night during the festival. And don’t forget the Nightly Drink Specials!Join us for dancing, the Best Western Wear contest.Concerts by Collateral Damage and Brian Lorente and The Usual Suspects will be providing two nights of frontier energy until the early-hours of the morning. These bands are a must-see.Can’t wait to see you THERE!
THE BIONIC BULLRIDER VISITS CHARLOTTE FRONTIER DAYS!
This year we have a very special guest with us. His name is Barry Brown and he is known as the Bionic Bullrider. Barry who came back from nearly fatal injuries in the arena to eventually qualify for the National Finals Rodeo, has written a book about his life and rodeo career. The Bionic Bullrider details the incident in a 1968 rodeo in Superior, Wisconsin, in which a bull broke his sternum and five ribs, essentially splitting his chest in two, and the ground breaking surgery that drew coverage in several medical journals. Brown was Comeback Cowboy of the Year in 1971 and qualified for the NFR in 1974. For more information visit www.bionicbullrider.com. Please come out and visit with him. And of course there are plenty of special events for the whole family.Hayes Green Beach will be hosting the Nspired 5K Road Race and Family Walk. The course takes you right down Charlotte’s Main Street past thousands of spectators waiting for the start of the Frontier Days Grand Parade! Family Fun Day at Bennett Park, Art and Crafts, Frontier Market, Encampment, Award Winning Rodeo and much more! Come on down and spend the day with us!
