By the time her name was called, the suspense of the moment was gone. However, it didn’t stop Dana Seitler from tearing up as she was crowned the 2009 Charlotte Frontier Days Queen. The crowd at the Frontier Days Saloon had grown accustomed to her hearing her name as Seitler took home the Community Favorite, Miss Congeniality, Miss Community Service and Miss Photogenic awards as well.
Rikki Skrip finished as first runner up and Kathryn Page earned second runner up.
Seitler, 26, is the daughter of Terry and Bonnie Seitler. She was sponsored by Saturn of Grand Ledge and Circile T Ranch. As queen, Seitler will not only represent Charlotte throughout the next year, she will also receive a cash prize of $1,000, crown, trophy and gifts donated by several local merchants, including a custom necklace from Carl V. Reck Jewelers.
Skrip, 33, was sponsored by American Legion Post 42 in Charlotte. Page, 19, was sponsored by Charlotte Big Boy.
